By French satirist Jean-Baptiste Thiers, an excellent copy of what is considered the first comprehensive treatise on wigs. Also thought to be the opening volume of a projected edition of Thiers' complete works. However, no more were published. The author discusses not only wigs but many other sorts of headwear.
